RESTORATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITIONS
Restorations for the exhibition “Botticelli e Filippino" Palazzo Strozzi, Florence - 2004.
The panel paintings by FILIPPINO LIPPI “Angel Annunciating" and “Annunciation"(1484) from the Civic Museums of San Gimignano (Siena) were restored in our high-security workshop. Throughout the restoration, the paintings (insured for millions of Euro) were continually monitored and guarded. When the restoration was complete, the artworks were sealed in special containers and transferred to Palazzo Strozzi in Florence in climate-controlled vehicles protected by an armed escort.
The paintings were accompanied by Studio staff members and mounted for the exhibition under their supervision.
